Hvorfor New Zealand?

English sminglish

I might consider writing some of my updates in english, in case any of you foreign friends would like to understand what it is I do...

So far!

Preparations before departure:
- Applying to NMIT
- Waiting for ages to get a reply from them
- Booking my flight
- Applying for a visa
- Gathering everything I needed for the visa;
- Medical exam in Bergen
- X-ray
- Paying school fees
- Police certificate
- Insurance
- Waiting for my passport to be returned with the visa...

Lots to prepare, not to forget the packing!

Update regarding the visa:
Monday, two days before my flight, and the visa has not jet arrived. Getting pretty nervous, so I spend all day calling the embassy in Holland and trying to confirm that the passport will actually arrive on time. Not successful. So if it doesn't arrive tomorrow morning, I have a problem...

I have two options:

1)
I change my ticket and wait for the passport to arrive. This will cost me a hell of a lot of money and I'll arrive a lot later than I want to.

2)
I get an emergency passport made, and have the embassy give me a written statement saying I actually have an approved visa for New Zealand, just not on me. I then get a statement from both the British and American embassy giving me an ok for transit in their countries. Lots of work and stress, but that will get me going on time.

Time will tell! Hopefully everything is sorted tomorrow mid-day.
