Edited: Siste natt / last sleep in Stavanger...

Da har jeg pakket ferdig, noe som gikk overraskende raskt og smertefritt, kanskje ikke så rart når jeg har dobbel bagasje siden jeg flyr om USA ;) Familien har hatt en deilig middag med god drikke og en påfølgende rolig kveld før familiens favorittdatter/-søster drar sin kos for de neste 11 månedene. Det er vanskelig å fatte, men plutselig er dagen rett rundt hjørnet og jeg skal faktisk reise om ganske nøyaktig 10 timer. Det har vært så mye styr og stell rundt dette at jeg vet ikke om jeg trodde det faktisk skulle gå i orden... Tror det ikke før jeg er på flyet imorra!

My bags are finally packed, surprisingly quick and painless, but it probably should be with all the extra luggage they're allowing me because of the LA flight. Lucky me :) After all the drama with the passport yesterday and this morning, the rest of the day has been relaxing and rounded off with a nice family dinner. All gathered to celebrate the departure of their favourite daughter/sister leaving for the other side of the world. Lucky me to have such a caring family, wouldn't change them for the world. It's hard to believe that this day is finally here after all this time and all these preparations, but it is, and I'm looking forward to getting on the plane and maybe then actually realize that this is real!
